We spent the day downtown....something we should really take advantage of more often. In the background is the very elegant Empress Hotel.

It's "Swift Sure" weekend in Victoria (an International Sailing Race). As you can see, the harbour was almost completely empty with most boats out on the water racing.

The Parliament Building overlooks the main area on the Inner Harbour.

The white structure on the water is the Undersea Gardens, where we saw various west coast species of fish, plant life and other sea creatures. The highlights for the kids were the Wolfeel and a very large octopus!

This was a small pool of star and sunfish that you could touch - very cool!

Wow...great view! I think those star fish etc are really fantastic!
Great idea, we'll have to take Deanna there sometime soon too.
What awesome pictures..makes us want to come visit. One day we will get out your way! Kira would go nuts if she could see and touch a real star fish. She really really likes them. Too cool.
