Matthew's 1st Tomatoe Plant
Over the past few years Matthew has been very fond of picking and inspecting Papa's tomatoe plants in the summer. So this summer Grandma and Papa decided that he was old enough to have his own little plant to look after. They bought him a special pot and his very own Cherry tomatoe plant to grow and enjoy. Matthew loves tomatoes and was very excited about this idea, he joined in with the planting preparations from beginning to end. Here he is mixing the soil, mushroom manure and bone meal together.
Next, was planting the little tomatoe plant with some help from Papa.

how fun for matthew to plant a tomato plant with his Papa. Kyle has done this for years planting a pumpkin with his Papa and then they enter them at the pumpkin festival here each Fall. It's so fun and very educational all at the same time! Have fun Matthew.
