Before Bedtime Pix
After 3 weeks of daycare Taiya developed a nasty skin infection in her thumb. She usually sucks it at nap and bedtime, but I guess with all the new changes she was using it more than normal as a security. She was put on oral antibiotics and an antibiotic skin cream and it required wrapping 24 hrs. per day to allow it to heal. So for memories sake we took a pictures of her cute little bandage...so far it's helped and I think we may even be breaking the habit.
Taiya like many other girls in our group loves books. Here she is running into Matthew's room hoping to get yet another book read to her.
After stories the kids had a bit of a "wrestling match", if you can call it that. It was mostly tickling... and I think you can figure who was winning this battle.posted by Debbie and Frank | 9:20 PM

The pictures are just great, but my goodness they are growing up so fast! I can't believe how long Taiya's hair is getting. Sorry for her about the thumb infection, but hopefully it will be fine in no time.

Poor Taiya! I hope your thumb infection will get better in the next few days. Matthew seems very happy to have a sister. Anyway, both look always very happy. They are so cute together.
