Mr. Baker

Matthew bakes once a week at daycare and I hear he just loves it! We rarely do any baking at home but at his request this past weekend we through together some muffins. They turned out great and Matthew enjoyed himself a ton...we'll have to find the time to do more of this. Great job buddy.

Hop For Muscular Dystrophy

At daycare today, the kids hopped to help raise money to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association in their annual "hopathon". These were the bunny ears that they wore while hopping, and if you look closely you can still see the whiskers that were drawn on their faces. Wish I could have seen them all in action together, but thought we'd get a small taste of the bunny hopping when they came home. Let's just say, it's tricky trying to get a picture of two kids hopping (in the same frame anyways)!

Happy Chinese New Year's

Hope everyone had a great celebration this year! We enjoyed ourselves with a group of other chinese adoptive families here in Victoria, there was quite a large turn out. It was good to see Lizu , Deanna and both their parents (it's been far too long since our last visit together). The kids enjoyed a play time with ride on cars, climbers, crafts and a large inflated dragon "maze". There was a potluck dinner too, with a big variety of tasty foods and deserts...a great time for all!

Tonsils and then some

This was Taiya's first full sucker...she loved it. I'm not sure what she was trying to show us here, but it looks as though you can see all the way down into her tummy. At least we know those tonsils look good anyways:)

New Sofa and Taiya

We got some new furniture this weekend, and Taiya was happy to model for you guys. She's no 'Price is Right Girl' in terms of style and elegance...but I'd definately say she did a great job posing, and looks as cute as a button.

You're probably thinking what is this all about??? Well, for starters he didn't know Barbie was there. Frank had surgery on his knee and when he came home Taiya left Barbie in bed with Daddy by mistake. This just happened to be a picture I couldn't resist taking.
